NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Basal transcription of genes by RNA polymerase II requires the interaction of TATA-binding protein (TBP) with the core region of class II promoters. Studies in mouse suggest that the protein encoded by this gene likely activates basal transcription from class II promoters by interaction with TBP and the class II promoter DNA. Uniprot Description
ABT1: Could be a novel TATA-binding protein (TBP) which can function as a basal transcription activator. Can act as a regulator of basal transcription for class II genes. Belongs to the ESF2/ABP1 family.

Product Notes
The ABT1 abt1 (Catalog #AAA416393) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-ABT1 Antibody reacts with Human. Predicted: Mouse, Rat. and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ABT1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). ELISA titer: 1:20,000-1:80,000 Western blot analysis: 1:1,000-1:2,000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:500 Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ABT1 abt1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ABT1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
