ABCG1: Transporter involved in macrophage lipid homeostasis. Is an active component of the macrophage lipid export complex. Could also be involved in intracellular lipid transport processes. The role in cellular lipid homeostasis may not be limited to macrophages. Belongs to the ABC transporter superfamily. ABCG family. Eye pigment precursor importer (TC 3.A.1.204) subfamily. 8 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The ABCG1 abcg1 (Catalog #AAA6460853) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ABCG1, NT (ATP-binding Cassette Sub-family G Member 1, ATP-binding Cassette Transporter 8, White Protein Homolog, WHT1, ABC8) (MaxLight 405) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ABCG1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), FLISA. WB: 1:50-1:100 FLISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ABCG1 abcg1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ABCG1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
