NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the MRP subfamily which is involved in multi-drug resistance. The specific function of this protein has not yet been determined; however, this protein may play a role in cellular detoxification as a pump for its substrate, organic anions. Alternative splicing results in multiple splice variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The ABCC4 abcc4 (Catalog #AAA6008188) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ABCC4, CT (Multidrug Resistance-associated Protein 4, ATP-binding Cassette Sub-family C Member 4, MRP/cMOAT-related ABC transporter, Multi-specific Organic Anion Transporter B, MOAT-B, ABCC4) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ABCC4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Dilution: ELISA: 1:64,000 Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 2.5ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ABCC4 abcc4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ABCC4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
