Related Product Information for anti-ABCA6 antibody
The membrane-associated protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intracellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, and White). This encoded protein is a member of the ABC1 subfamily. Members of the ABC1 subfamily comprise the only major ABC subfamily found exclusively in multicellular eukaryotes. This gene is clustered among 4 other ABC1 family members on 17q24 and may play a role in macrophage lipid homeostasis.ABCA6 (ATP Binding Cassette Subfamily A Member 6) is a Protein Coding gene. Among its related pathways are Transport of glucose and other sugars, bile salts and organic acids, metal ions and amine compounds and CDK-mediated phosphorylation and removal of Cdc6. GO annotations related to this gene include ATPase activity and ATPase activity, coupled to transmembrane movement of substances. An important paralog of this gene is ABCA8.

Product Notes

The ABCA6 abca6 (Catalog #AAA2561418) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ABCA6 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ABCA6 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA). IHC: 1:30-1:150 ELISA: 1:5000-1:10000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ABCA6 abca6 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ABCA6, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
