Application Notes
This product is intended for use in precipitating and non-precipitating antibodybinding assays (such as e.g, ELISA and Western blotting and immunofluorescence or histochemical techchnique); to prepare an insoluble immuno-affinity adsorbent; for labelling with a marker of the customer's own choice. Working dilutions in non-precipitating antibody-binding techniques may vary widely, but may be at least 1/200.

Characteristics
The 7S fractions were prepared from antisera by ammonium sulfate precipitation and ion exchange chromatography.
The reagents were evaluated for potency, purity and specificity using most or all of the following techniques: immunoelectrophoresis, cross-immunoelectrophoresis, single radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony), block titration, ELISA, immunoblotting and enzyme inhibition.

The 7S fractions 10 mglml, lyophilized from phosphate buffered saline.
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized at +4 degree C at least for 5 years.
Reconstituted at -20 degree C for 3-5 years.
Reconstituted at +4 degree C for 7 days.
Handling:
Reconstitute the lyophilized 7S fraction by adding 1.0 ml of sterile distilled water. Dilution may be prepared by adding phosphate buffered saline. Avoid repeated thawing and freezing. If a slight precipitation occurs upon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation and will not affect the performance of the product. Diluted solutions should be stored at +4 degree C, not refrozen, and preferably used the same day.
Reconstituted at -20 degree C for 3-5 years.
Reconstituted at +4 degree C for 7 days.
