Related Product Information for PMAIP1 elisa kit
Principle of the Assay: This kit was based on sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. Anti- PMAIP1 antibody was pre-coated onto 96-well plates. And the biotin conjugated anti- PMAIP1 antibody was used as detection antibodies. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently, and washed with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the PMAIP1 amount of sample captured in plate. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader, and then the concentration of PMAIP1 can be calculated.

Uniprot Description

NOXA: Promotes activation of caspases and apoptosis. Promotes mitochondrial membrane changes and efflux of apoptogenic proteins from the mitochondria. Contributes to p53/TP53-dependent apoptosis after radiation exposure. Promotes proteasomal degradation of MCL1. Competes with BAK1 for binding to MCL1 and can displace BAK1 from its binding site on MCL1. Competes with BIM/BCL2L11 for binding to MCL1 and can displace BIM/BCL2L11 from its binding site on MCL1. Interacts with MCL1, BCL2A1 and BAX. Up-regulated by p53/TP53, phorbol esters, double- stranded RNA, IFNB1/IFN-beta and viruses. Highly expressed in adult T-cell leukemia cell line. Belongs to the PMAIP1 family.

Product Notes

The Human PMAIP1 pmaip1 (Catalog #AAA761963) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA761963 ELISA Kit recognizes Human PMAIP1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Phorbol-12-myristate-13-acetate-induced protein 1, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
