Plant Dopamine Receptor D4 (DRD4) ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes the D4 subtype of the dopamine receptor. The D4 subtype is a G-protein coupled receptor which inhibits adenylyl cyclase. It is a target for drugs which treat schizophrenia and Parkinson disease. Mutations in this gene have been associated with various behavioral phenotypes, including autonomic nervous system dysfunction, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and the personality trait of novelty seeking. This gene contains a polymorphic number (2-10 copies) of tandem 48 nt repeats; the sequence shown contains four repeats. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
DRD4: Dopamine receptor responsible for neuronal signaling in the mesolimbic system of the brain, an area of the brain that regulates emotion and complex behavior. Its activity is mediated by G proteins which inhibit adenylyl cyclase. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.

Product Notes
The Plant DRD4 drd4 (Catalog #AAA9376067) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9376067 ELISA Kit recognizes Plant DRD4. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Dopamine Receptor D4 (DRD4), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
