Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate of the targetprotein. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation andprecipitation were observed. The loss of this protein is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
NEXN: Involved in regulating cell migration through association with the actin cytoskeleton. Has an essential role in the maintenance of Z line and sarcomere integrity. Defects in NEXN are the cause of cardiomyopathy dilated type 1CC (CMD1CC). A disorder characterized by ventricular dilation and impaired systolic function, resulting in congestive heart failure and arrhythmia. Patients are at risk of premature death. Defects in NEXN are the cause of familial hypertrophic cardiomyopathy type 20 (CMH20). CMH20 is a hereditary heart disorder characterized by ventricular hypertrophy, which is usually asymmetric and often involves the interventricular septum. The symptoms include dyspnea, syncope, collapse, palpitations, and chest pain. They can be readily provoked by exercise. The disorder has inter- and intrafamilial variability ranging from benign to malignant forms with high risk of cardiac failure and sudden cardiac death. 4 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The NEXN nexn (Catalog #AAA2029227) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Host: E Coli Source: Prokaryotic expression and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Nexilin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunoprecipitation (IP). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NEXN nexn for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: The target protein is fused with two N-terminal Tags, His-tag and GST-tag, its sequence is listed below.HEDDDVDVR P AKKSESPFTH KVNMKARFEQ MAKAREEEEQ RRIEEQKLLR MQFEQKEIDA ALQKKREDEE EEEGSIVNGS TTEDEEQTRS GAPWFKKPLR NTSVVDSEPV RFTVKVTGEP KPEITWWFEG EILQDGEDYQ YIERGETYCL YLPETFPEDG GEYMCKAVNN KGSAASTCIL TIEMDDY. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Nexilin, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
