NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
MOV10: Probable RNA helicase. Required for RNA-mediated gene silencing by the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC). Required for both miRNA-mediated translational repression and miRNA- mediated cleavage of complementary mRNAs by RISC. Also required for RNA-directed transcription and replication of the human hepatitis delta virus (HDV). Interacts with small capped HDV RNAs derived from genomic hairpin structures that mark the initiation sites of RNA-dependent HDV RNA transcription. Belongs to the DNA2/NAM7 helicase family. SDE3 subfamily. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: EC 3.6.4.13; Helicase; RNA processing; RNA-binding; Spliceosome
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 1p13.2
Cellular Component: cytosol; extracellular space
Molecular Function: ATP binding; helicase activity; protein binding; RNA binding
Biological Process: miRNA-mediated gene silencing; mRNA cleavage involved in gene silencing by miRNA; phosphoinositide-mediated signaling; regulation of megakaryocyte differentiation; regulation of transcription, DNA-templated; transcription, DNA-dependent; Wnt receptor signaling pathway, calcium modulating pathway

Product Notes
The Human MOV10 mov10 (Catalog #AAA281971) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA281971 ELISA Kit recognizes Human MOV10. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Putative helicase MOV-10, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
