Related Product Information for IgG1 immunoglobulin
The immunoglobulin light chain is the small polypeptide subunit of an antibody (immunoglobulin). A typical antibody is composed of two immunoglobulin heavy chains and two immunoglobulin light chains. There are two types of light chain in humans (as in other mammals), kappa chain, encoded by the immunoglobulin kappa locus on chromosome 2 ambda chain, encoded by the immunoglobulin lambda locus on chromosome 22.

Product Notes

The IgG1 (Catalog #AAA532494) is an Immunoglobulin produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Mouse IgG1 Kappa Light Chain Isotype Control (FITC) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Western Blot (WB). This immunoglobulin is useful as an isotype-matched control (for the relevant formats) for Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunohistochemistry, functional assay, immunofluorescence microscopy, immunocytochemistry and immunofluorescent staining (surface or intracellular) for flow cytometric analysis. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IgG1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Mouse IgG1 Kappa Light Chain Isotype Control (FITC), Immunoglobulin" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
