Host
Mouse
Reactivity
Human
Isotype
IgG2b
Clone Number
3H2413
Specificity
Can be used as a negative control for direct FITC immunofluorescence staining (eg. Flow Cytometry) when using mouse monoclonal antibodies to human cell surface antigens of isotype IgG2b. This enables an estimation of non-specific binding of mouse monoclonal antibodies to cell surface components in peripheral blood and tissue.
Purity/Purification
Affinity Purified
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Form/Format
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.1% sodium azide. Conjugated to fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
Applicable Applications for IgG2b Negative Control isotype control
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
Application Notes
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry.
Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the optimal working dilution to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Suitable for whole blood, Ficoll-separated preparations.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Product Notes

The IgG2b Negative Control (Catalog #AAA655508) is an Isotype Control produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The IgG2b Negative Control (FITC) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's IgG2b Negative Control can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IgG2b Negative Control for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IgG2b Negative Control, Isotype Control" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
