Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.
Related Product Information for XRCC6 elisa kit
The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to X-Ray Repair Cross Complementing 6 (XRCC6). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to X-Ray Repair Cross Complementing 6 (XRCC6). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain X-Ray Repair Cross Complementing 6 (XRCC6), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of X-Ray Repair Cross Complementing 6 (XRCC6) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

The p70/p80 autoantigen is a nuclear complex consisting of two subunits with molecular masses of approximately 70 and 80 kDa. The complex functions as a single-stranded DNA-dependent ATP-dependent helicase. The complex may be involved in the repair of nonhomologous DNA ends such as that required for double-strand break repair, transposition, and V(D)J recombination. High levels of autoantibodies to p70 and p80 have been found in some patients with systemic lupus erythematosus. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes

The Mouse XRCC6 xrcc6 (Catalog #AAA2701655) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2701655 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse XRCC6. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "X-Ray Repair Cross Complementing 6 (XRCC6), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
