Usage Notes
* Do not mix components from different kit lots or use reagents beyond the kit expiration date.
* Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.
* Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination.
* Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 degree C in the sealed bag provided.
* Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.
* It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 2-8 degree C.

Related Product Information for TLN1 elisa kit
Description: This Mouse Talin-1 (TLN1) ELISA Kit employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate TLN1 in samples. An antibody specific for TLN1 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any TLN1 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for TLN1 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of TLN1 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Background: TALIN is a high-molecular-weight cytoskeletal protein concentrated at regions of cell-substratum contactand, in lymphocytes, at cell-cell contacts.Talin-1 is a cytoskeletal protein which is concentrated in areas of cell-substratum and cell-cell contacts. This protein plays a significant role in the assembly of actin filaments and in spreading and migration of various cell types, including fibroblasts and osteoclasts. It codistributes with integrins in the cell surface membrane in order to assist in the attachment of adherent cells to extracellular matrices and of lymphocytes to other cells. The N-terminus of this protein contains elements for localization to cell-extracellular matrix junctions. The C-terminus contains binding sites for proteins such as beta-1-integrin, actin, and vinculin.

The N-terminus of this protein contains elements for localization to cell-extracellular matrix junctions. The C-terminus contains binding sites for proteins such as beta-1-integrin, actin, and vinculin.

Product Notes

The Mouse TLN1 tln1 (Catalog #AAA9716823) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9716823 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse TLN1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Talin-1 (TLN1), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
