Mouse Retinoic X receptor beta (RXRb) ELISA Kit | RXRb elisa kit
Mouse Retinoic X receptor beta (RXRb) ELISA Kit
Principles of the Assay: This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with Mouse RXRb antibody. RXRb present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Mouse RXRb Antibody is added and binds to RXRb in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated RXRb antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mouse RXRb. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the retinoid X receptor (RXR) family of nuclear receptors which are involved in mediating the effects of retinoic acid (RA). The encoded protein forms homodimers with the retinoic acid, thyroid hormone, and vitamin D receptors, increasing both DNA binding and transcriptional function on their respective response elements. This gene lies within the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II region on chromosome 6. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2012]
Uniprot Description
Receptor for retinoic acid. Retinoic acid receptors bind as heterodimers to their target response elements in response to their ligands, all-trans or 9-cis retinoic acid, and regulate gene expression in various biological processes. The RAR/RXR heterodimers bind to the retinoic acid response elements (RARE).

Product Notes
The Mouse RXRb rxrb (Catalog #AAA1601139) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA1601139 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse RXRb. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Retinoic X receptor beta (RXRb), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
