Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

Related Product Information for CCR1 elisa kit
The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Chemokine C-C-Motif Receptor 1 (CCR1). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Chemokine C-C-Motif Receptor 1 (CCR1). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Chemokine C-C-Motif Receptor 1 (CCR1), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Chemokine C-C-Motif Receptor 1 (CCR1) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a member of the beta chemokine receptor family, which is predicted to be a seven transmembrane protein similar to G protein-coupled receptors. The ligands of this receptor include macrophage inflammatory protein 1 alpha (MIP-1 alpha), regulated on activation normal T expressed and secreted protein (RANTES), monocyte chemoattractant protein 3 (MCP-3), and myeloid progenitor inhibitory factor-1 (MPIF-1). Chemokines and their receptors mediated signal transduction are critical for the recruitment of effector immune cells to the site of inflammation. Knockout studies of the mouse homolog suggested the roles of this gene in host protection from inflammatory response, and susceptibility to virus and parasite. This gene and other chemokine receptor genes, including CCR2, CCRL2, CCR3, CCR5 and CCXCR1, are found to form a gene cluster on chromosome 3p. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

CCR1: Receptor for a C-C type chemokine. Binds to MIP-1-alpha, MIP-1-delta, RANTES, and MCP-3 and, less efficiently, to MIP-1- beta or MCP-1 and subsequently transduces a signal by increasing the intracellular calcium ions level. Responsible for affecting stem cell proliferation. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.

Protein type: Membrane protein, integral; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis; Receptor, GPCR; GPCR, family 1; Membrane protein, multi-pass

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 3p21

Cellular Component: integral to plasma membrane; plasma membrane; external side of plasma membrane

Molecular Function: protein binding; C-C chemokine receptor activity; chemokine receptor activity; C-C chemokine binding; phosphoinositide phospholipase C activity

Biological Process: exocytosis; positive regulation of osteoclast differentiation; metabolic process; cytokine and chemokine mediated signaling pathway; chemotaxis; cellular calcium ion homeostasis; negative regulation of bone mineralization; G-protein signaling, coupled to cyclic nucleotide second messenger; elevation of cytosolic calcium ion concentration; cell surface receptor linked signal transduction; cell-cell signaling; calcium ion transport; response to wounding; dendritic cell chemotaxis; immune response; inflammatory response; positive regulation of calcium ion transport; cell adhesion

Product Notes

The Mouse CCR1 ccr1 (Catalog #AAA2020135) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2020135 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse CCR1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Chemokine C-C-Motif Receptor 1 (CCR1), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
