Mouse C-C motif chemokine 4 (CCL4) ELISA Kit | CCL4 elisa kit
Mouse C-C motif chemokine 4 (CCL4) ELISA Kit
Principles of the Assay: This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with Mouse CCL4 antibody. CCL4 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Mouse CCL4 Antibody is added and binds to CCL4 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CCL4 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mouse CCL4. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a mitogen-inducible monokine and is one of the major HIV-suppressive factors produced by CD8+ T-cells. The encoded protein is secreted and has chemokinetic and inflammatory functions. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2012]
Uniprot Description
Monokine with inflammatory and chemokinetic properties. Binds to CCR5. One of the major HIV-suppressive factors produced by CD8+ T-cells. Recombinant MIP-1-beta induces a dose-dependent inhibition of different strains of HIV-1, HIV-2, and simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV). The processed form MIP-1-beta(3-69) retains the abilities to induce down-modulation of surface expression of the chemokine receptor CCR5 and to inhibit the CCR5-mediated entry of HIV-1 in T-cells. MIP-1-beta(3-69) is also a ligand for CCR1 and CCR2 isoform B.

Product Notes
The Mouse CCL4 ccl4 (Catalog #AAA1601096) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA1601096 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse CCL4. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "C-C motif chemokine 4 (CCL4), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
