Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

Related Product Information for Bcl9 elisa kit
The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to B-Cell CLL/Lymphoma 9 (Bcl9). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to B-Cell CLL/Lymphoma 9 (Bcl9). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain B-Cell CLL/Lymphoma 9 (Bcl9), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of B-Cell CLL/Lymphoma 9 (Bcl9) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

BCL9 is associated with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. It may be a target of translocation in B-cell malignancies with abnormalities of 1q21. Its function is unknown. The overexpression of BCL9 may be of pathogenic significance in B-cell malignancies. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

Bcl-9: Involved in signal transduction through the Wnt pathway. Promotes beta-catenin's transcriptional activity. A chromosomal aberration involving BCL9 is found in a patient with precusor B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Translocation t(1;14)(q21;q32). This translocation leaves the coding region intact, but may have pathogenic effects due to alterations in the expression level of BCL9. Several cases of translocations within the 3'-UTR of BCL9 have been found in B-cell malignancies. Belongs to the BCL9 family.

Protein type: Transcription factor; Oncoprotein

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 1q21

Cellular Component: nucleoplasm; Golgi apparatus; cis-Golgi network

Molecular Function: protein binding; beta-catenin binding

Biological Process: regulation of transforming growth factor beta receptor signaling pathway; somatic stem cell maintenance; myotube differentiation involved in skeletal muscle regeneration; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; Wnt receptor signaling pathway through beta-catenin

Product Notes

The Mouse Bcl9 bcl9 (Catalog #AAA2024467) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2024467 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse Bcl9. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "B-Cell CLL/Lymphoma 9 (Bcl9), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
