Mouse 60S ribosomal protein L32 (RPL32) ELISA Kit | RPL32 elisa kit
Mouse 60S ribosomal protein L32 (RPL32) ELISA Kit
Principle of the Assay: RPL32 ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing a polyclonal anti-RPL32 antibody and an RPL32-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with RPL32-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the RPL32 concentration since RPL32 from samples and RPL32-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-RPL32 antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by RPL32 from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind RPL32-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The RPL32 concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Together these subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. This gene encodes a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 60S subunit. The protein belongs to the L32E family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. Although some studies have mapped this gene to 3q13.3-q21, it is believed to map to 3p25-p24. As is typical for genes encoding ribosomal proteins, there are multiple processed pseudogenes of this gene dispersed through the genome. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been observed for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The Mouse RPL32 rpl32 (Catalog #AAA7220374) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA7220374 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse RPL32. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "60S ribosomal protein L32 (RPL32), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
