NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome (WAS) protein family. Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome proteins share similar domain structure, and associate with a variety of signaling molecules to alter the actin cytoskeleton. The encoded protein is highly expressed in neural tissues, and interacts with several proteins involved in cytoskeletal organization, including cell division control protein 42 (CDC42) and the actin-related protein-2/3 (ARP2/3) complex. The encoded protein may be involved in the formation of long actin microspikes, and in neurite extension. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2013]

Product Notes
The WASL wasl (Catalog #AAA6161070) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The WASL (Neural Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome Protein, NWASP, N-WASP) (PE) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's WASL can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB). IF: 10ug/ml Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the WASL wasl for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "WASL, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
