Mouse anti-Human Tyrosine Hydroxylase Monoclonal Antibody | anti-TH antibody
Tyrosine Hydroxylase, Monoclonal Antibody, Mouse
Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000
Note: It is strongly recommended that the customer perform a primary antibody dilution series using our dilution recommendations as a guideline. Note that a change in the fixation or buffering system as used in our protocol may change the configuration of the protein and, therefore, may alter the reactivity with the tissue tested.

Stability after reconstitution: Antibody can be stored for up to six months if handled as described above.
This Tyrosine Hydroxylase antiserum was quality control tested using standard immunohistochemical methods. The antiserum demonstrates strongly positive labeling of rat catecholamine neuron systems using indirect immunofluorescent and biotin/avidin-HRP techniques. Recommended primary dilutions for these methods are provided on the data-sheet. This antibody does not cross react with dihydropterdine reductase, dopamine-B-hydroxylase, phenylethanolamine-N-methyltransferase, phenylalanine hydroxylase or tryptophan hydroxylase using Western blot methods.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is involved in the conversion of tyrosine to dopamine. It is the rate-limiting enzyme in the synthesis of catecholamines, hence plays a key role in the physiology of adrenergic neurons. Mutations in this gene have been associated with autosomal recessive Segawa syndrome. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been noted for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
TH: an enzyme involved in the conversion of phenylalanine to dopamine. As the rate-limiting enzyme in the synthesis of catecholamines, tyrosine hydroxylase has a key role in the physiology of adrenergic neurons. Four splice variant isoforms have been described.

The Tyrosine Hydroxylase, Monoclonal Antibody, Mouse reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Tyrosine Hydroxylase can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB). Immunohistochemistry: 1:1000-1:2000 in PBS/0.3% Triton X-100 Cy3 Technique 1:4000-1:8000 in PBS/0.3% Triton X-100 Bn-Av/HRP Technique Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000 Note: It is strongly recommended that the customer perform a primary antibody dilution series using our dilution recommendations as a guideline. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TH th for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Tyrosine Hydroxylase, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
