NCBI Description

STON1-GTF2A1L mRNAs are infrequent but naturally occurring read-through products of the neighboring STON1 and GTF2A1L genes. These transcripts encode fusion proteins composed of the vast majority of each of the individual elements, stonin 1 and general transcription factor IIA, 1-like. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. The significance of these read-through variants and the function of the resulting protein products have not yet been determined. Product Notes

The STON1 (Catalog #AAA6192462) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Stonin 1 (Stonin-1, STON1, STN1, SALF, Stoned B-like Factor, SBLF, STNB1) (MaxLight 405) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Stonin 1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, FLISA, Western Blot (WB). Sandwich FLISA: The detection limit is ~0.03ng/ml as a capture antibody. Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the STON1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Stonin 1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
