Presentation
100ug of Integra Bioreactor concentrated tissue culture supernatant, PEG purified and FITC conjugated Ig buffered in PBS, 0.02% NaN3 and EIA grade BSA as a stabilizing protein to bring total protein concentration to 4-5 mg/ml.
Preparation and Storage
Store at +4 degree C. For long term storage, aliquot and freeze in single use portions. Avoid freeze thaw cycles.

The FITC anti-salmonid Ig (H chain) monoclonal antibody can be used to indirectly detect a generalized or pathogen-specific increase in immunoglobulin level. This antibody recognizes the immunoglobin heavy chain found in all Salmonid species (Salmo, Oncorhynchus and Salvelinus). This antibody can be used as a detection reagent for fish infection by either detecting a generalized increase in fish immunoglobulin level or by detecting specific antibody. For specific antibody detection, known infectious agents are used as the antigen in a FACS assay, followed by samples of infected fish serum and then the anti-salmonid Ig monoclonal antibody. This antibody can be used in Flow Cytometry.
