NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
RTKN2: a Rho-GTPase effector protein with a PH domain. Expressed in CD4+ T-cells and bone marrow-derived B-cells. Gene expression was increased in quiescent T-cells and negligible in activated proliferating cells. Expression was absent in myeloid leukaemias, low in most B-cell malignancies and CD8+ T-cell malignancies, but very high in double positive T-lymphoblastic lymphoma. Three alternatively spliced variants have been reported in human samples.
Protein type: Unknown function
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 10q21.2
Cellular Component: plasma membrane
Biological Process: positive regulation of cell proliferation; hemopoiesis; signal transduction

The Mouse Monoclonal [clone 2C2] (IgG2a,k) to Human RTKN2 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's RTKN2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC - Paraffin), Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). ELISA, IHC-P (1:50), WB Usage: Immunohistochemistry: Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections. Sandwich ELISA: Recombinant protein. Western Blot with the recombinant protein used as the immunogen. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RTKN2 rtkn2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RTKN2, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
