Mouse anti-Human, Rat Piccolo Monoclonal Antibody | anti-Pclo antibody
Piccolo Antibody: ATTO 488
Scientific Background: Piccolo, also referred to as Aczonin, is a large protein which consists of an N-terminal Zn2+ finger, several piccolo-bassoon homology domains and C-terminal PDZ and C2 domains (1, 2). In general it is found together with bassoon, a related huge multi-domain protein of the CAZ (cytoskeletal matric assembled at active zones) (3). Piccolo is a scaffolding protein for proteins involved in endo- and exocytosis of synaptic vesicles. Piccolo has also been shown to interfere with clathrin medicated endocytosis by binding to the F-actin and dynamin binding protein Abp1 (2).

Product Notes
The Pclo pclo (Catalog #AAA800704) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Piccolo Antibody: ATTO 488 reacts with Human, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Piccolo can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Pclo pclo for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Piccolo, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
