Form/Format
Lyophilized from 20mM TBS, pH7.5, containing 1% BSA and 0.1% sodium azide
Applicable Applications for anti-BGLAP antibody
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Frozen, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin, Western Blot (WB)
Reconstitution
Reconstitute with 50ul distilled water. Dilute with 10mM TBS, pH7.5, containing 1% BSA and 0.1% sodium azide. TBS should be used for dilution, as the antibody has a tendency to precipitate in PBS. When stored at 4 degree C, 0.1% sodium azide should be added as a preservative
Immunogen
Bovine osteocalcin
Preparation and Storage
Stable for at least 2 years after receipt when stored at 4 degree C. Reconstituted antibody is stable for 1 year when stored at -20 degree C and for 6 months when stored at 4 degree C (after adding 0.1% sodium azide). Be sure to store the antibody at a minimum concentration of 2.0mg/ml. A lower concentration may result in decreased stability. Diluted antibody should not be stored
Avoid freeze/thaw cycles. After reconstitution, prepare aliquots and store at -20 degree C

Product Notes

The BGLAP bglap (Catalog #AAA566355) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Osteocalcin (21-31) monoclonal antibody (OCG3) reacts with Human, Rat, Sheep, Rabbit, Porcine, Goat, Bovine Does not cross-react with mouse osteocalcin and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Osteocalcin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Frozen, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the BGLAP bglap for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Osteocalcin, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
