Related Product Information for anti-GNL3 antibody
The protein encoded by this gene may interact with p53 and may be involved in tumorigenesis. The encoded protein also appears to be important for stem cell proliferation. Stabilizes MDM2 by preventing its ubiquitination, and hence proteasomal degradation. This protein is found in both the nucleus and nucleolus. Three transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been found for this gene.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene may interact with p53 and may be involved in tumorigenesis. The encoded protein also appears to be important for stem cell proliferation. This protein is found in both the nucleus and nucleolus. Three transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2010]

Uniprot Description

GNL3: May be required to maintain the proliferative capacity of stem cells and may play an important role in tumorigenesis. May interact with p53/TP53 via its basic domain. Increased levels in lung tissue in cancer patients. Belongs to the MMR1/HSR1 GTP-binding protein family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The GNL3 gnl3 (Catalog #AAA9436662) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Nucleostemin Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Nucleostemin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). IHC: 1:50-1:200 ICC: 1:50-1:200 FC/FACS: 1:50-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GNL3 gnl3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Nucleostemin, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
