Mouse Nuclear Pore Complex, Panspecific Monoclonal Antibody | anti-NUP133 antibody
Nuclear Pore Complex, Panspecific
Sterile-filtered cell culture fluid from an Integra CL-350 biochamber
Sterile-filtered cell culture fluid from an Integra CL-350 biochamber
Dilution: Immunofluorescence: For yeast cells, try diluted 1:100-1:500. For immunofluorescence on mammalian cells try at 1:50-1:100.
Testing Data
(Human HeLa cells were stained with monoclonal antibody MBS6005035, which binds to a nuclear pore complex antigen, and chicken antibody to vimentin 031441. Note the close apposition of cytoplasmic vimentin intermediate filaments with the nuclear membrane, revealed by the MBS6005035 binding to the nuclear pores.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The nuclear envelope creates distinct nuclear and cytoplasmic compartments in eukaryotic cells. It consists of two concentric membranes perforated by nuclear pores, large protein complexes that form aqueous channels to regulate the flow of macromolecules between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. These complexes are composed of at least 100 different polypeptide subunits, many of which belong to the nucleoporin family. The nucleoporin protein encoded by this gene displays evolutionarily conserved interactions with other nucleoporins. This protein, which localizes to both sides of the nuclear pore complex at interphase, remains associated with the complex during mitosis and is targeted at early stages to the reforming nuclear envelope. This protein also localizes to kinetochores of mitotic cells. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The NUP133 nup133 (Catalog #AAA6005035) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Nuclear Pore Complex, Panspecific reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Nuclear Pore Complex, Panspecific can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF). Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence. Dilution: Immunofluorescence: For yeast cells, try diluted 1:100-1:500. For immunofluorescence on mammalian cells try at 1:50-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NUP133 nup133 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Nuclear Pore Complex, Panspecific, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
