May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20 degree C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Related Product Information for anti-MHC Class 2, B-L antibody
The chicken major histocompatibility complex (MHC), or B complex, consists of several clusters of highly polymorphic genes. Like their mammalian counterparts, the avian MHC exerts genetic influence over a variety of important biological functions such as immune response, disease resistance, growth and development, aging, and reproduction. Chicken MHC Class II genes, also known as the B-L subregion, of the chicken MHC encode cell surface glycoproteins that are homologous to mammalian Class II antigens. B-L antigens structurally are similar to mammalian Class II molecules in that they are noncovalently bound dimers of one 32-34kD heavy chain and one 27-30kD light chain. MHC Class II is primarily expressed on B cells and antigen presenting cells (APCs).1

Product Notes

The MHC Class 2, B-L (Catalog #AAA600847) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MHC Class 2, B-L (FITC) reacts with Chicken and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MHC Class 2, B-L can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Flow cytometry 2-6,, Immunoprecipitation 7,, Immunoblotting 6,, Immunohistochemistry 6 Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1ug/10e6 cells. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MHC Class 2, B-L for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MHC Class 2, B-L, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
