Mouse anti-Human LYST Monoclonal Antibody | anti-LYST antibody
LYST (Lysosomal-trafficking Regulator, Beige Homolog, CHS, CHS1) (HRP)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a protein that regulates intracellular protein trafficking in endosomes, and may be involved in pigmentation. Mutations in this gene are associated with Chediak-Higashi syndrome, a lysosomal storage disorder. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants, though the full-length nature of some of these variants has not been determined. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2013]
Uniprot Description
LYST: May be required for sorting endosomal resident proteins into late multivesicular endosomes by a mechanism involving microtubules. Defects in LYST are the cause of Chediak-Higashi syndrome (CHS). CHS is a rare autosomal recessive disorder characterized by hypopigmentation, severe immunologic deficiency, a bleeding tendency, neurologic abnormalities, abnormal intracellular transport to and from the lysosome, and giant inclusion bodies in a variety of cell types. Most patients die at an early age unless they receive an allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant (SCT). 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The LYST lyst (Catalog #AAA6153380) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The LYST (Lysosomal-trafficking Regulator, Beige Homolog, CHS, CHS1) (HRP) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's LYST can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LYST lyst for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "LYST, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
