Related Product Information for anti-Klrk1 antibody
CD314, also known as natural killer receptor G2 (NKG2D) and as killer cell lectin-like receptor subfamily K, member 1 (KLRK1). CD314 is a C-type lectin-like activating receptor which is expressed on most natural killer (NK) cells, CD8 T cells and gamma delta T cells. CD314 forms homodimers that signal through an associated DAP10 adaptor protein.Ligands of CD314 include MICA, MICB and UL16 binding protein (ULBP), which are inducibly expressed. Ligand binding to CD314 results in NK cell activation and potent costimulation of effector T cells.

Uniprot Description

KLRK1: Receptor for MICA, MICB, ULBP1, ULBP2, ULBP3 (ULBP2>ULBP1>ULBP3) and ULBP4. Plays a role as a receptor for the recognition of MHC class I HLA-E molecules by NK cells and some cytotoxic T-cells. Involved in the immune surveillance exerted by T- and B-lymphocytes. 1 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Receptor, misc.; Membrane protein, integral; Cell surface

Cellular Component: cell surface; membrane; plasma membrane; integral to membrane; external side of plasma membrane

Molecular Function: MHC class Ib receptor activity; protein binding; protein homodimerization activity; MHC class I protein binding; carbohydrate binding; kinase binding

Biological Process: stimulatory C-type lectin receptor signaling pathway; defense response to Gram-positive bacterium; positive regulation of interferon-gamma production; positive regulation of nitric oxide biosynthetic process; immune system process; positive regulation of natural killer cell mediated cytotoxicity directed against tumor cell target; positive regulation of apoptosis; innate immune response; natural killer cell activation; positive regulation of natural killer cell mediated cytotoxicity; cell differentiation; positive regulation of myeloid dendritic cell activation

Product Notes

The Klrk1 klrk1 (Catalog #AAA606386) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The KLRK1 (Killer Cell Lectin-like Receptor Subfamily K Member 1, CD314, HGNC:18788, D12S2489E, NK Cell Receptor D, NK Lectin-like Receptor, NKLLR, NKG2D Activating NK Receptor, NKG2D Type II Integral Membrane Protein, NKR P2) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's KLRK1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Functional Assays, Immunohistochemistry (frozen), and Immunoprecipitation. Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:200; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Klrk1 klrk1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "KLRK1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
