Related Product Information for anti-ELP3 antibody
Elongator complex protein 3, also named KAT9, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ELP3 gene. It is mapped to 8p21. 1. ELP3 is the catalytic histone acetyltransferase subunit of the RNA polymerase II elongator complex, which is a component of the RNA polymerase II (Pol II) holoenzyme and is involved in transcriptional elongation. ELP3 supports the migration and branching of projection neurons through acetylation of alpha-tubulin in the developing cerebral cortex. In mammals, ELP3 is important for paternal DNA demethylation afterfertilization.  ELP3 is potentially involved in cellular redox homeostasis by mediating the acetylation ofglucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase. Besides, ELP3 may play a role in chromatin remodeling and is involved in acetylation of histones H3 and probably H4.

Product Notes

The ELP3 elp3 (Catalog #AAA1754015) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-KAT9/ELP3 Antibody (monoclonal, 8B4) reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's KAT9/ELP3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 0.1-0.25ug/ml|Human, Mouse, Rat|. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ELP3 elp3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "KAT9/ELP3, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
