Related Product Information for anti-IRF9 antibody
Transcription regulatory factor that mediates signaling by type I IFNs (IFN-alpha and IFN-beta). Following type I IFN binding to cell surface receptors, Jak kinases (TYK2 and JAK1) are activated, leading to tyrosine phosphorylation of STAT1 and STAT2. The phosphorylated STATs dimerize, associate with IRF9/ISGF3G to form a complex termed ISGF3 transcription factor, that enters the nucleus. ISGF3 binds to the IFN stimulated response element (ISRE) to activate the transcription of interferon stimulated genes, which drive the cell in an antiviral state.

Uniprot Description

IRF9: Transcription regulatory factor that mediates signaling by type I IFNs (IFN-alpha and IFN-beta). Belongs to the IRF family.

Protein type: DNA-binding

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 14q11.2

Cellular Component: nucleoplasm; cytoplasm; cytosol; nucleus

Product Notes

The IRF9 irf9 (Catalog #AAA4381743) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Interferon regulatory factor 9/IRF-9 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [Clone PCRP-IRF9-2F8] reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Interferon regulatory factor 9/IRF-9 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF). FC/FACS: 1-2ug/million cells IF: 1-2ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IRF9 irf9 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Interferon regulatory factor 9/IRF-9, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
