Mouse anti-Human IL-25 Monoclonal Antibody | anti-IL25 antibody
Mouse Anti-Human IL-25-UNLB
Interleukin-25 (IL-25), also known as IL-17E, is a 17kD protein and a recently identified member of the IL-17 cytokine family. This cytokine is secreted by a variety of cells, including type 2 helper T cells (Th2), bone marrow-derived mast cells and alveolar macrophages2. On target cells, IL-25 can induce the production of several type 2 cytokines including IL-4, IL-5 and IL-13 and implicates a role for this cytokine in type 2 immune response3. Studies have linked this cytokine to promoting airway hyperreactivity, limiting pro inflammatory cytokine production and chronic intestinal inflammation and providing protective immunity following intestinal helminth infection4-6.
Reagents are stable for the period shown on the label if stored as directed.

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that shares sequence similarity with interleukin 17. This cytokine can induce NF-kappaB activation, and stimulate the production of interleukin 8. Both this cytokine and interleukin 17B are ligands for the cytokine receptor IL17BR. Studies of a similar gene in mice suggest that this cytokine may be a pro-inflammatory cytokine favoring the Th2-type immune response. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Product Notes
The IL25 il25 (Catalog #AAA670216) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Mouse Anti-Human IL-25-UNLB reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's IL-25 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA. ELISA: 0.1 - 1.0ug/mL. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL25 il25 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IL-25, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
