Testing Data (Figure 1. Total cell lysate from 293E cells untransfected (lane 1) and 293E transfected with IDO1 (lane 2) were resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose, and probed with IDO1 (mouse), mAb (2E2). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse-IgG secondary conjugated to HRP and chemiluminescence detection.)

Related Product Information for anti-IDO1 antibody
Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO) is an IFN-gamma inducible gene. It catalyzes the degradation of the essential amino acid L-tryptophan to N-formylkynurenine. IDO has been implicated to protect against intracellular and extracellular pathogens.. IDO1 is also known as Indolamine 2,3-dioxygenase, Indole 2,3-dioxygenase, and Indoleamine-pyrrole 2,3-dioxygenase. IDO is a ubiquitously expressed cytoplasmic protein with a predicted molecular weight of approximately 45 kDa. Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO) is one the best known IFN-gamma inducible genes. The product of IDO gene catalyzes the degradation of the essential amino acid L-tryptophan to N-formylkynurenine. IDO has been implicated to protect against intracellular and extracellular pathogens. It also has been shown to maintain the special immune suppressive status of immune-privileged sites such as the brain, eyes, kidney, and placenta.

Product Notes

The IDO1 ido1 (Catalog #AAA565098) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The IDO1 (mouse) monoclonal antibody (2E2) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's IDO1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IDO1 ido1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IDO1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
