Mouse anti-Human GSTT2 Monoclonal Antibody | anti-GSTT2 antibody
GSTT2 (Glutathione S-transferase theta-2, GST class-theta-2, MGC182032) (HRP)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene, glutathione S-transferase (GST) theta 2 (GSTT2), is a member of a superfamily of proteins that catalyze the conjugation of reduced glutathione to a variety of electrophilic and hydrophobic compounds. Human GSTs can be divided into five main classes: alpha, mu, pi, theta, and zeta. The theta class includes GSTT1, GSTT2, and GSTT2B. GSTT2 and GSTT2B are nearly identical to each other, and share 55% amino acid identity with GSTT1. All three genes may play a role in human carcinogenesis. The GSTT2 gene is a pseudogene in some populations. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2015]

Product Notes
The GSTT2 gstt2 (Catalog #AAA6152798) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The GSTT2 (Glutathione S-transferase theta-2, GST class-theta-2, MGC182032) (HRP) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's GSTT2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB). Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GSTT2 gstt2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GSTT2, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
