Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Functional Assay
Application Notes
FC: <= 0.5 ug/test

A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal /formance in the assay of interest
Biological Significance
The AcV1 monoclonal antibody reacts with the gp64 envelope protein of the baculovirus Autographa californica. The gp64 envelope protein is essential for virus infectivity and is expressed on the surface of baculovirus-infected cells within six hours of infection. The AcV1 antibody can be used in flow cytometry-based viral titration experiments.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 2-8 degree C. Do not freeze. Protect from light.

Product Notes

The gp64 gp64 (Catalog #AAA833900) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's gp64 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Functional Assay. FC: <= 0.5 ug/test A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal /formance in the assay of interest. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the gp64 gp64 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "gp64, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
