Mouse anti-Bovine G-Protein, i alpha 2 Monoclonal Antibody | anti-Gia2 antibody
G-Protein, i alpha 2 (Gia2) (MaxLight 405)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is an alpha subunit of guanine nucleotide binding proteins (G proteins). The encoded protein contains the guanine nucleotide binding site and is involved in the hormonal regulation of adenylate cyclase. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2013]
Uniprot Description
G-alpha i2: Guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) are involved as modulators or transducers in various transmembrane signaling systems. The G(i) proteins are involved in hormonal regulation of adenylate cyclase: they inhibit the cyclase in response to beta-adrenergic stimuli. May play a role in cell division. Belongs to the G-alpha family. G(i/o/t/z) subfamily. 4 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The Gia2 gnai2 (Catalog #AAA6244890) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The G-Protein, i alpha 2 (Gia2) (MaxLight 405) reacts with Bovine and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's G-Protein, i alpha 2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Gia2 gnai2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "G-Protein, i alpha 2, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
