Related Product Information for anti-fxr antibody
Farnesoid X-activated receptor (FXR, HRR-1, BAR, RIP14; NR1H4) is a member of the orphan nuclear receptor family. FXR is expressed in the liver, intestinal villi, renal tubes and adrenal cortex. FXR is a global regulator of bile acid metabolism. Two genes, cholesterol 7a-hydroxylase (CYP7A1) and IBABP (ileal bile acid binding protein), which are implicated in bile acid biosynthesis and recycling, respectively, are target genes of FXR. FXR is shown to be transcriptionally activated by farnesol metabolites such as farnesol itself and juvenile hormone III. FXR binds to DNA only as a heterodimer with RXR.

Product Notes

The fxr fxr (Catalog #AAA603991) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The FXR (Farnesoid X-activated Receptor, HRR-1, BAR, RIP14, NR1H4) reacts with Human, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's FXR can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Dilution: Direct ELISA: 0.2ug/ml Western Blot: 1ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: 20-40ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the fxr fxr for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FXR, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
