Related Product Information for anti-Endothelial cell antigen antibody
Product Description: The monoclonal antibody RECA-1 reacts with Rat Endothelial Cell Antigen (RECA), a cell surface antigen (MCA970R) on rat endothelial cells. Endothelial cells (EC) line the interior of all blood vessels and are the key players in the angiogenesis cascade. EC are the first cells and barrier that vehicles or medicines encounter after systemic delivery. Furthermore, they have a signaling function to the cells of the immune system to indicate the status of the surrounding tissue. RECA-1is at least reactive with the rat MHC-haplotype; Lewis (TR-11), BN (RT-1n) and OA (RT-1u). RECA-1 antibody has been successfully applied in staining of viable endothelial cells in vitro, and of vascular endothelium in vivo. No reactivity of the RECA-1 monoclonal antibody was seen with other cell types e.g. fibroblasts, leukocytes and non endothelial stromal cells nor with other various tested species other than rat e.g. mouse, rabbit, sheep, goat and human. RECA-1 is a promising antibody for rat endothelial cell studies, and in particular for further defining nature and function of endothelial cell-specific antigens

Product Notes

The Endothelial cell antigen (Catalog #AAA584213) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Endothelial cell antigen, Rat, mAb RECA-1 reacts with Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Endothelial cell antigen can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, F, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF), P. Application Notes: FC: Standard procedure Application Use: For immunohistology and flow cytometry dilutions to be used depend on detection system applied. It is recommended that users test the reagent and determine their own optimal dilutions. The typical starting working dilution is 1:50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Endothelial cell antigen for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Endothelial cell antigen, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
