Related Product Information for anti-DEDD antibody
This gene encodes a protein that contains a death effector domain (DED). DED is a protein-protein interaction domain shared by adaptors, regulators and executors of the programmed cell death pathway. Overexpression of this gene was shown to induce weak apoptosis. Upon stimulation, this protein was found to translocate from cytoplasm to nucleus and colocalize with UBTF, a basal factor required for RNA polymerase I transcription, in the nucleolus. At least three transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.

Product Notes

The DEDD (Catalog #AAA6141512) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DEDD (DEDPRO1, DEFT, Death Effector Domain-containing Protein, DEDPro1, Death Effector Domain-containing Testicular Molecule, FLDED-1) (Biotin) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DEDD can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DEDD for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DEDD, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
