Rat anti-Human Cytohesin 1 Monoclonal Antibody | anti-CTH-1 antibody
Cytohesin 1 (B2-1, CLM1, CTH-1, CYTIP, Cytoadhesin 1, D17S811E, Homolog of Secretory Protein SEC7, Pleckstrin Homology Sec7 and Coiled/Coil Domains 1, PSCD1) (AP)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western Blotting Analysis: Representative lot data. Jurkat cell lysate was probed with 0.5 ug/mL of Anti-Cytohesin-1, clone 7H2. Proteins were visualized using a Goat Anti-Rat IgG secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and detected using a chemiluminescence detection system. Arrow indicates Cytohesin-1 (~46 kD).)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the PSCD family. Members of this family have identical structural organization that consists of an N-terminal coiled-coil motif, a central Sec7 domain, and a C-terminal pleckstrin homology (PH) domain. The coiled-coil motif is involved in homodimerization, the Sec7 domain contains guanine-nucleotide exchange protein activity, and the PH domain interacts with phospholipids and is responsible for association of PSCDs with membranes. Members of this family appear to mediate the regulation of protein sorting and membrane trafficking. This gene is highly expressed in natural killer and peripheral T cells, and regulates the adhesiveness of integrins at the plasma membrane of lymphocytes. A pseudogene of this gene has been defined on the X chromosome. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, May 2014]

Product Notes
The CTH-1 cyth1 (Catalog #AAA6241955) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Cytohesin 1 (B2-1, CLM1, CTH-1, CYTIP, Cytoadhesin 1, D17S811E, Homolog of Secretory Protein SEC7, Pleckstrin Homology Sec7 and Coiled/Coil Domains 1, PSCD1) (AP) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Cytohesin 1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CTH-1 cyth1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cytohesin 1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
