SARS Coronavirus is an enveloped virus containing three outer structural proteins, namely the membrane (M), envelope (E), and spike (S) proteins. CoV-2 IgG S1 Rabbit Antibody binds to both SARS-CoV and SARS-CoV-2 with high affinity at amino acids 318-510 (RBD, Receptor Binding Domain) in the S1 subunit of the Spike protein. This chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Human IgG1 format.
