Related Product Information for anti-c3b antibody
The complement system is an important factor in innate immunity. The third complement component, C3, is central to the classical, alternative and lectin pathways of complement activation. The synthesis of C3 is tissue-specific and is modulated in response to a variety of stimulatory agents. An inherited deficiency of C3 predisposes the person to frequent assaults of bacterial infections. Proteolysis by certain enzymes results in the cleavage of C3 into C3a and C3b. C3b becomes attached to immune complexes and is further cleaved into iC3b, C3c, C3dg and C3f. Furthermore, C3b plays a critical role in the amplification loop of the alternative pathway.

Product Notes

The c3b (Catalog #AAA632183) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Complement C3b beta, Human reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Complement C3b beta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC). Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry and Western Blot. Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:10. 1hr at RT. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the c3b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Complement C3b beta, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
