NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is highly similar to Cdc 37, a cell division cycle control protein of Sacchromyces cerevisiae. This protein is a molecular chaperone with specific function in cell signal transduction. It has been shown to form complex with Hsp90 and a variety of protein kinases including CDK4, CDK6, SRC, RAF-1, MOK, as well as eIF2 alpha kinases. It is thought to play a critical role in directing Hsp90 to its target kinases. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
CDC37: a molecular chaperone that functions in cell signal transduction. Forms complexes with Hsp90 and a variety of protein kinases including CDK4, CDK6, SRC, RAF-1, MOK, as well as eIF2 alpha kinases. Also interacts with androgen receptor. It is thought to play a critical role in directing Hsp90 to its target kinases.

Product Notes
The CDC37 cdc37 (Catalog #AAA9435981) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CDC37 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CDC37 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). WB: 1:1000-5000 IHC: 1:50-1:200 FC/FACS: 1:50-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CDC37 cdc37 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CDC37, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
