Related Product Information for anti-CD79b antibody
CD79b (Ig beta, B29) forms disulfide-linked heterodimer with CD79a (Ig alpha, MB1). They both are transmembrane proteins with extended cytoplasmic domains containing immunoreceptor tyrosine activation motives (ITAMs), and together with cell surface immunoglobulin they constitute B-cell antigen-specific receptor (BCR). CD79a and b are the first components of BCR that are expressed developmentally. They appear on pro-B cells in association with the endoplasmic reticulum chaperone calnexin. Subsequently, in pre-B cells, CD79 heterodimer is associated with lambda5-VpreB surrogate immunoglobulin and later with antigen-specific surface immunoglobulins. CD79a/b complex interacts with Src-family tyrosine kinase Lyn, which phosphorylates its cytoplasmic ITAM motives to form docking sites for downstream signaling.

Product Notes

The CD79b cd79b (Catalog #AAA1801775) is an Antibody produced from Armenian Hamster and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Ms CD79b Purified reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD79b can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (QC tested), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC). FC/FACS: Recommended dilution: 1ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD79b cd79b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD79b, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
