anti-Mouse CD69 (VEA) Monoclonal Antibody | anti-Cd69 antibody
Hamster Anti-Mouse CD69/VEA-LE/AF
CD69, also known as very early activation (VEA) antigen, is a disulfide-linked transmembrane homodimer whose differentially glycosylated subunits range from 35-39 kDa.^1,2 It is a C-type lectin, most closely related to the NKR-P1 and Ly-49 NK cell-activation molecules.^3 CD69 is widely expressed on hematopoietic cells, including lymphocytes, neutrophils and eosinophils.^1-4 Although not detectable on resting lymphocytes, its expression is rapidly (within 2 hours) upregulated upon activation of T, B and NK cells, and neutrophils.4 Constitutive expression of CD69 on subsets of thymocytes suggests that it may be involved in regulation of developmental events in addition to its role in activation of a variety of hematopoietic cells.^4,5 MAb H1.2F3 augments PMA-induced T-cell proliferation,^1,6 and induces redirected lysis of Fc receptor-bearing target cells by NK cells.^7

Product Notes
The Cd69 (Catalog #AAA673432) is an Antibody produced from Armenian Hamster and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Hamster Anti-Mouse CD69/VEA-LE/AF reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD69 (VEA) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry; Immunohistochemistry (Acetone Fixed/Frozen Sections); Immunoprecipitation. Research Application(s): In vitro T cell and NK-cell activation. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Cd69 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD69 (VEA), Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
