Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C or at -20 degree C if preferred. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life: 18 months from date of despatch.

Related Product Information for anti-CD3 antibody
Hamster anti Mouse CD3 antibody, clone 145-2C11 detects CD3 epsilon (CD3e), a 20kDa transmembrane protein also known as CD3 or T3. CD3e is a member of the CD3 complex which consists of four subunits, gamma, delta, epsilon and zeta, and these are associated to the T cell receptor (TCR). TCR plays a critical role in T cell development and function, and is responsible for ligand recognition. It interacts non-covalently with the CD3 dimers delta/epsilon, gamma/epsilon and zeta/zeta which transduce signals from the TCR into the cell. CD3e is primarily expressed on T cells, NK-T cells, and at different levels on thymocytes during T cell differentiation. Hamster anti Mouse CD3 antibody, clone 145-2C11 is useful for in vitro blocking and activation assays, as well as apoptosis induction and in vitro T cell depletions.

Product Notes

The CD3 cd3e (Catalog #AAA214442) is an Antibody produced from Hamster and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's CD3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistology Frozen, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB). Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x106 cells in 100ul. The Fc region of monoclonal antibodies may bind non-specifically to cells expressing low affinity Fc receptors. This may be reduced by using SeroBlock FcR. Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/25; Maximum Dilution: 1/200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD3 cd3e for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD3, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
