Related Product Information for anti-CD276 antibody
Rat anti Mouse CD276 antibody, clone MJ18 specifically recognizes mouse CD276, otherwise known as B7-H3, a ubiquitously expressed transmembrane glycoprotein and member of the B7 family of co-stimulatory molecules, which acts as both a positive and negative regulator of T-cell-mediated immune responses. CD276 is highly expressed in bone during embryogenesis, and can be induced on dendritic cells and monocytes by inflammatory cytokines. CD276 has been implicated in the development of acute and chronic transplant rejection, and is reported to have therapeutic potential as a regulator of cell-mediated immune responses to cancer, particularly in conjunction with anti-angiogenic therapy. In mice, CD276 has been linked with the development of pathogenic Th2 cells during the induction phase of allergic asthma and have shown that Rat anti Mouse CD276 antibody, clone MJ18 inhibits stimulated CD4+ T-cell proliferation (Nagashima et al. 2008).

Uniprot Description

CD276: May participate in the regulation of T-cell-mediated immune response. May play a protective role in tumor cells by inhibiting natural-killer mediated cell lysis as well as a role of marker for detection of neuroblastoma cells. May be involved in the development of acute and chronic transplant rejection and in the regulation of lymphocytic activity at mucosal surfaces. Could also play a key role in providing the placenta and fetus with a suitable immunological environment throughout pregnancy. Both isoform 1 and isoform 2 appear to be redundant in their ability to modulate CD4 T-cell responses. Isoform 2 is shown to enhance the induction of cytotoxic T-cells and selectively stimulates interferon gamma production in the presence of T-cell receptor signaling. Belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. BTN/MOG family. 4 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Membrane protein, integral

Product Notes

The CD276 cd276 (Catalog #AAA224597) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's CD276 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS). Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x106 cells in 100ul. Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/25; Maximum Dilution: 1/200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD276 cd276 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD276, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
