Rabbit anti-Human CD23 Monoclonal Antibody | anti-CD23 antibody
Anti-CD23 [CAT-13.9C1]
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Immunofluorescence staining of fixed Daudi cells with anti-CD23 antibody CAT-13.9C1 (MBS488719) Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed Daudi cells on Shi-fix coverslips stained with the chimeric rabbit IgG version CAT-13.9C1 () at 10ug/ml for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2ug/ml), showing membrane staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Panels show from left-right, top-bottom , DAPI, merged channels and an isotype control. The isotype control was an unknown specificity antibody (MBS488140) followed by staining with Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(Flow cytometry using the Anti-CD23 antibody CAT-13.9C1 (MBS488719). Paraformaldehyde fixed Daudi cells were stained with anti-unknown specificity antibody (MBS488149; isotype control, black line) or the rabbit IgG version of CAT-13.9C1 (, blue line) at a dilution of 1:100 for 1h at RT. After washing, the bound antibody was detected using a goat anti-rabbit IgG AlexaFluor 488 antibody at a dilution of 1:1000 and cells analyzed using a FACSCanto flow-cytometer.)
This antibody was raised by immunising mice with with an EBV-transformed human B cell line from a patient with MHC class II deficiency re-expressing class II antigens.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a B-cell specific antigen, and a low-affinity receptor for IgE. It has essential roles in B cell growth and differentiation, and the regulation of IgE production. This protein also exists as a soluble secreted form, then functioning as a potent mitogenic growth factor. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, Jul 2011]
Uniprot Description
Low-affinity receptor for immunoglobulin E (IgE) and CR2/CD21. Has essential roles in the regulation of IgE production and in the differentiation of B-cells (it is a B-cell-specific antigen).

Product Notes
The CD23 fcer2 (Catalog #AAA488719) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-CD23 [CAT-13.9C1] reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD23 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF). CD23 is a B-cell-specific marker and thus this antibody can be utilised in the identification and analysis of B-cells and B-cell-derived cancers. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD23 fcer2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD23, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
