Related Product Information for anti-CCL4L1 antibody
CCL4L1 is one of several cytokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. This protein is similar to CCL4 which inhibits HIV entry by binding to the cellular receptor CCR5. The copy number of this gene varies among individuals; most individuals have 1-5 copies in the diploid genome, although rare individuals do not contain this gene at all. The human genome reference assembly contains two copies of this gene. This record represents the more centromeric gene.

Uniprot Description

Function: Chemokine that induces chemotaxis of cells expressing CCR5 or CCR1. Inhibits HIV replication in peripheral blood monocytes that express CCR5. Ref.5

Subunit structure: Interacts with CCR5. Ref.5

Subcellular location: Secreted

By similarity.

Tissue specificity: Detected in B-cells. Ref.7

Polymorphism: The copy number of the CC4L1 gene varies among individuals; most individuals have 1 to 6 copies in the diploid genome.

Sequence similarities: Belongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family.

Product Notes

The CCL4L1 ccl4l1 (Catalog #AAA649306) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CCL4L1 (C-C Motif Chemokine 4-like, Small-inducible Cytokine A4-like, Monocyte Adherence-induced Protein 5-alpha, Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1-beta, MIP-1-beta, Lymphocyte Activation Gene 1 Protein, LAG-1, CCL4L, LAG1, SCYA4L1, CCL4L2, CCL4L, SCYA4L2 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CCL4L1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CCL4L1 ccl4l1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: SDPPTACCFS YTARKLPRNF VVDYYETSSL CSQPAVVFQT KRGKQVCADP SESWVQEYVY DLELN*. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CCL4L1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
